Meet Our Pickleball Instructors

Bruce  Parent Bruce Parent is an enthusiastic Pickleball player who not only enjoys the game but also takes pleasure in teaching others how to play. Bruce is a PPR certified instructor.

He is also a true family man at heart. When he’s not playing Pickleball, you'll find him spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, or cheering on the Bruins.



Cathy  Silva Cathy Silva has been playing Pickleball for three years and has quickly advanced as one of the top women players in the area. Whether she's competing at a high level or simply enjoying a casual game, Cathy seizes every opportunity to play and have fun on the courts!

With her background as both a Physical Education teacher and coach, Cathy brings a wealth of expertise to the game. Cathy excels at identifying player needs, and works closely with her students to develop their skills and enhance techniques. Her passion and experience make her a fantastic asset to the pickleball community. Cathy is a PPR certified instructor.



Daniel  DeTerraDaniel DeTerra
A natural athlete, Dan's lifelong dedication to racquet and paddle sports is evident, with a competitive focus on racquetball tournaments spanning many years. However, in 2019, Pickleball caught his attention. He quickly became enamored with the sport, demonstrating exceptional skill and acquiring his PPR certification to teach in 2022. Dan has imparted his knowledge, both individually and in groups, to hundreds of players regarding the fundamentals and intermediate skills required for Pickleball. As a 4.0 player, Dan takes charge of open play, league, and tournament play. Dan is thrilled to welcome Pickleball enthusiasts of all levels to Pickleball & More and to help promote this fantastic sport.



Gregory Rego Gregory Rego is an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Certified instructor. Gregory is more than a pickleball enthusiast; he's a dedicated player, coach, and tournament contender. With a decade of personal pickleball experience, he brings a deep understanding of the game to the court.

As an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Certified instructor, Gregory has been shaping the skills of players in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for four years. His passion for pickleball is evident in both his coaching and his own play.  He's not just an instructor; he's also a formidable player who has competed in tournaments across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, and Florida. With Gregory, you're getting a coach who knows the game inside and out, and a player who knows what it takes to succeed.



James Crosson James Crosson is a true champion of the sport, both on and off the Pickleball courts. As a Fall River resident, he has collaborated with city officials to bring Pickleball clinics and tournaments to the newly constructed Pickleball and Tennis Court Complex at Kennedy Park in Fall River. James’s passion for Pickleball knows no bounds , but what he loves even more is sharing that passion with others. He’s dedicated to teaching the game so more people can experience the joy and excitement that Pickleball brings. Jessica Rego Jessica Rego is a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) certified Pickleball instructor with a strong commitment to helping players of all skill levels improve their game. Jess is dedicated to promoting the sport of Pickleball and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for players to thrive.

Jessica comes from a strong tennis background. She was a Boston Globe All Scholastic doubles player in high school and played #1 singles in her freshman year in college.  She later went to Nationals with her USTA tennis team.  Since 2017, Jessica left tennis behind to fully focus on pickleball where she has medaled in many tournaments in both women’s and mixed doubles.

Over the past two years Jessica has fallen in love with teaching and coaching pickleball. She has experience teaching all skill levels. With Jessica as your instructor, you can expect to improve your skills on the court, and develop a deep passion for this exciting and rapidly growing sport!  Whether you’re a beginner looking to get started or an experienced player striving for excellence, Jessica will guide you on your pickleball journey. 

Jessica has 31 years of experience teaching mathematics, and has been an Associate Professor at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy for the past 23 years. 



Kimberly  Mitchell Kimberly Mitchell has been involved in pickleball since 2014 - playing, competing and teaching Learn to Play. Kim is a PPR certified instructor.

Kim was Co-Tournament Director of “The New England Slam Series” tournaments and currently, is a Level 2 USA pickleball referee, USA Pickleball registered referee trainer and USA Pickleball Ambassador. She and her dad, Bob Hall started Lakeville Pickleball Club which has grown to be one of the oldest and largest groups of pickleball players locally. Her passion is spreading the joy of pickleball to new players wherever she goes.



Nancy TacheNancy Tache is an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Certified instructor. Nancy has spent the last five years competing in high-level tournaments across the country. In 2022, she was ranked 19th among players of all ages in the Northeast's pro/amateur category.

Her achievements extend into 2023, where she secured a Boca Master Gold Medal and became the Indoor National Champion in the 4.5 Women's 60+ category. With Nancy, you have the opportunity to learn from and play alongside a true pickleball champion!



Ray  JacksonRay Jackson is a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) certified associate coach. He is originally from Trenton, NJ, but currently calls Tiverton, RI home since his retirement from the Navy in 2013. Ray is a true sports enthusiast. He’s played baseball, basketball, table tennis, and more recently discovered his love for Pickleball.

Ray's coaching experience spans several sports, reflecting his deep engagement and commitment. For over three years, he's devoted his energy to Pickleball, honing his skills and knowledge.

With a background that includes attending USA Nike Sports Camps, participating in local tournaments, and managing 8 Pickleball courts at Bristol Community College, Ray has deep pickleball experience. Ray’s commitment to the sport is evident in his instruction and provision of Beginner and Adult Improver sessions for members in the South Coast area.
